The year long journey through the Britain, began in June 2019.

A journey exploring ways of being in the world, deeply embedded in nature connection, community, and self directed learning.

The year will be loosely structured, following the seasons, living with the land, and open to the spontaneity of the landscape and communities encountered.

Practicing the ancient art of living in community, whilst drawing upon contemporary frameworks for a changing world.

Asking the questions that feel important to the world we live in, giving time and structure to the practice and art of learning.

A day on 10 day walk
Days will change from season to season on the walk, they will be flexible and adaptable, but will generally follow a structure and rhythm. Here is an example of how a day in the summer might look:

Wake to sweet songs
Pack up camp
Morning sharing/practices
Walking for a couple of hours
Self directed study for a couple of hours
Lunch
Walking for a couple of hours
Find camp
Shared practices/study for a couple of hours
Eating together
Evening songs around the fire, practices etc
Sleeping under the stars

Pratical things like cooking/setting up camp/fire making are shared amongst everyone and will be a key part of day to day life on the walk.
