General information
Living in Community
A big part of LiC's mission is to work with systems of communication, mentoring, conflict resolution and decision making that are efficient, beautiful, dynamic and potentially challenging.
This means keeping track of and acknowledging power dynamics and interpersonal conflicts that arise. A commitment and willingness to exploring these things on a personal level, as well as within the group, and an openness to exploring different ways of working, is asked of people joining the project. [For more information, see the ‘Community’ section on this website]. Money
There is no set price to pay for joining the walk, and the costs of the project also need to be supported.
If this project feels right for you, please apply regardless of your of financial situation. Please check the application forms for a detailed breakdown of costs. |
AccessibilityIt is important to acknowledge that taking 10 days to a year to take part in a project like this requires a certain amount of privilege. Some may not be physically able; for others, walking and wild camping may not feel safe.
If you are excited about this project and there is something that could make it easier for you to join, or you would like to be a part of the project in a different way that works for you, please get in touch and we can start a conversation. It's also important to acknowledge that this project isn't for everyone. |
